Who am I?
STUDENT ACTUARY | STATISTICIAN | DATA SCIENTIST
From a young age, I have been captivated by math, science, and history. While I initially dreamed of becoming a sportsman, spending my teenage years playing handball, it was at university that my passion for data truly took shape. I enrolled in an Actuarial Science program, where I began building a foundation in statistics, data analysis, and quantitative reasoning.
Over the years, I transitioned from an Actuarial Intern to a Data Analyst in Kenya’s telecommunications sector, and later moved to Sweden, where I recently completed a Master’s degree in Statistical Modeling and Data Science at Örebro University. As part of the EMOS (European Master in Official Statistics) track, I worked with labor force surveys, satellite data, and small area estimation models. I contributed to projects at Statistics Sweden and represented Sweden at the European Big Data Hackathon, gaining valuable experience in geospatial analytics, statistical modeling, and data-driven policymaking.
Having completed my graduate studies, I am more confident than ever in the value of data for shaping meaningful decisions. I look forward to applying my skills to complex challenges and continuing to grow as a data scientist with purpose.
